Numed raise over £7000 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

We are delighted to announce that we have now raised over £7000 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice cares for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions, and provide help and support for their families.

We had initially set an ambitious target of raising £5000 for the charity in early 2019, but after a gruelling 5k fun run, a huge bake sale and other fundraising initiatives, we had well and truly beaten our target by the end of September!

After a final push, including a Christmas Jumper fundraising day in December, we managed to add an additional £2000 to the funds we had already raised.

Julie Hampson, Corporate Fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Numed for going the extra mile for Bluebell Wood.

“We need to raise over £4.8m each year to keep our doors open so it really does make a huge difference to local children and families who are going through the most difficult of times.”
