Perranporth Doctors Surgery is a busy practice based on the picturesque North Cornwall coast. They purchased a new ECG system and spirometer with full integration into their record system.

Our old ECG machine was becoming increasingly temperamental and that coupled with the time consuming and clunky system of scanning results and attaching to medical records made us look at alternative systems.

We have been using Numed’s Cardiosoft Interpretative ECG system since the summer. The full integration with our clinical system streamlines the entire process, filing the ECG into the patient record and Read coding too. The GPs can view from their own rooms when the nurse informs them the ECG has been completed. The nursing team reports that the equipment is high quality and simple to use. The procedure is now more efficient and smooth running, in turn making the experience less stressful for the patient.

Installation, training and support services are excellent. We have been amazed at how straightforward the whole process has been, from demonstration through to purchase, installation and training.

The same applies to the new spirometer we purchased from Numed. Our Practice Nurse finds it very easy to use - it also Read codes the numerous data automatically back onto the patient record saving her so much time and eliminating any chance of input error and likes the reports she can produce. The support and training have been quick and efficient.
