“We purchased the new, fully integrated SpiroConnect® Spirometer from Numed Healthcare to replace our old Spirometer. Our Nurses find the SpiroConnect® system very user-friendly and simple to use, with a step-by-step procedure to take them through the process, which gives little room for error whilst carrying out the Spirometry test on the patients. The wireless connection is simple to set up, and very reliable.

Numed’s unique I³ integration software offers automatic upload of patient information to the Spirometry software, and the Spirometry test results and various Read codes are automatically saved into the patient’s record on completion of the test, saving time and avoiding the need to print out and scan the result. If there is a need to print out the result, this prints on A4, and gives a clear, comprehensive interpretation of the test.

The SpiroConnect® is ergonomically pleasing, and the feedback from patients is that they find it very easy to handle and use. The wireless connection also means that the patient is not restricted to sitting too close to the PC during the Spirometry test.
